Shock waves are mechanical waves. They are used in medical treatment. We utilize a modern Piezowave² device, made by the company R.Wolf.
This device produces focused shock waves. The depth in which those shock waves are focused is deliberately choosen by the operator. There is no mechanical load on the skin level. This procedure will go as far “under your skin” as we want it to.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Especially for longer persisting problems the ESWT treatment offers benefit: Things like heel spur, tennis elbow, bursitis of the shoulder joint or runners knee…
But there is actually no limit in using shock wave therapy on tense muscles. The treatment is done through the doctor, guided by the patient. We can focus where you want us to. It has few adverse effects and is nearly painless.
